Setup Team
The setup team transforms the gym into a worship center and places directional signs to assist with traffic. Each team serves once every five weeks.
Greeter Team
Beginning in the parking lot and stationed throughout the facility, this team extends a Sunday morning welcome and assists with special needs. Each team serves once every five weeks.
Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, Kindergarten
Help us provide a safe and meaningful class experience for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. Volunteers serve on a 4-5 week rotation.
The Anchor Kid’s Ministry
We strive to help every child grow through worship, small groups, and missions. There are many ways to serve. Teachers serve every other week and have a 6 weeks break during the summer. Other service opportunities include organizing events or help with setting up the Anchor area before church on Sundays.
Information Table Team
The information table team serves at the table located at the back of the gym to answer questions regarding church activities and ministries. This team serves on a five week rotation.
Audio Visual Team
We always need technically minded people who'd like to be trained to help with the sound system, PowerPoint presentations, and sound setup.
Prayer Team
The prayer team consists of people who enjoy spending extended time praying for others or asking for God’s intervention in specific situations. They are sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading to pray at all times. The prayer ministry is two-fold…we have intercessors on Sunday mornings at the end of the service and prayer chain members who receive prayer requests through emails during the week.
College
To help encourage college students in their walk with God while they are away from home, we want to offer opportunities where college students can connect with others and grow in their faith. If you enjoy having people in your home, consider hosting a college lunch social after church. Other opportunities include assisting with the Sunday morning Bible study or organizing food for the Bible study.
Broadcast
Our student ministry has one primary purpose - to provide an environment where students can journey with other students into the endless love of Jesus Christ. If you'd like to volunteer or are interested in knowing more about the Youth Ministry, click on the youth menu tab at the top of this page.
Small Groups Leaders
To help build supportive relationships among groups of adults, we are always looking for individuals to lead special interest groups, Bible studies, or open their homes to host a fellowship. Visit the Small Groups Page for more information.
Local Missions Team
From elementary schools, pro-life pregnancy centers, prisons, homeless shelters, children’s homes, and homes for at-risk teenage boys, HopePoint reaches out and serves in our community. Serving in a local missions group provides the opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the Gospel and making disciples in our community. Fellowship Team
The fellowship team plans and organizes picnics and house parties to help people meet each other in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
Host Team
The host team coordinates food for church wide events and smaller events like Discovery Classes or servant appreciation meals.
Administrative Support
Because we are a mobile ministry, there are many opportunities to assist the pastoral staff with organization and specific needs.
